The Yankee District is part of the American Rose Society or ARS. The ARS is divides the country up into districts, ours is the Yankee District. We have eight local societies in the Yankee District: the Connecticut Rose Society, Lower Cape Rose Society, Maine Rose Society, Mid-Maine Rose Society, New England Rose Society, New Hampshire Rose Society, Rhode Island Rose Society, and Societe des Roses du Quebec.

The first rose society in the Yankee District was the New England Rose Society.
